I believe that there was only one uncontrolled variable and that was how hard I spun the wheel, but that was why I spun each wheel three times to make sure that I spun them with equal force. The experiment was controlled because I left the bearings in the liquid for the same amount of time, in the same place and rode them for the same amount of time. The results have proved that my hypothesis is correct. It was that the isopropyl alcohol would work as the best bearing cleaner. The isopropyl alcohol worked best because it would dissolve all of the dust and rubbish that was in the bearing the best. The reason mineral turpentine and, lemon juice wouldn’t work as well was because they would leave a oily residue behind and the reason that coke didn’t work was that coke is 90% water and water rusts bearings which stops the bearing from spinning completely .So if you ever want to clean your bearings, isopropyl alcohol will work the best.
